Give Boldly LI Golf Tournament
Praxis sponsored the first Give Boldly Golf Challenge to support local charitable organizations on August 9, 2016. Individuals tested their golf skills at the famous Whitemarsh Valley Country Club, Lafayette, PA in a winner takes all tournament. Each generous participant designated a Long Island-based charity to champion.
First place winner Paul Posillico of Questus Capital, LLC, played on behalf of Memorial Sloan Kettering, the world’s oldest and largest private cancer center. Second place winner, John O’Brien, Jr. of O’Brien Partners, played on behalf of Tomorrow’s Hope Foundation, an organization that enables hundreds of underprivileged children the opportunity to attend Long Island Catholic schools. Through the donations given by the 2016 Give Boldly Golf Challenge participants, Mr. Posillico was able to award Memorial Sloan Kettering a check for $12,250 and Mr. O’Brien was able to award Tomorrow’s Hope Foundation a check for $3,750 to help aid in their efforts.
