Ms. Jean-Marie Buonomo is a communications and public affairs professional with extensive experience in nonprofit management. She manages Praxis business to government, client and community outreach services, and social media.

Prior to joining Praxis, Jean-Marie was the Executive Director of Destination LI, Director of Operations for the Let All The Children Play Foundation and Task Force Coordinator at Action Long Island. Named as one of Long Island’s top “30 Under 30” professionals by the Long Island Business News, she is actively involved in fundraising efforts for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the American Cancer Society, and she is a member of the Urban League of Long Island Young Professionals.

Among the many charities Jean-Marie supports are St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Baby2Baby, Planned Parenthood, Global Resource for Advancing Cancer Education, World Central Kitchen, and National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.

Jean-Marie earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Queens College. She resides in Merrick, New York with her husband and children, Dylan, Cameron and Hailey.
